    A must-visit George staple! Pick your own strawberries, tackle the largest hedge maze in the Southern Hemisphere, or ride the mini-train. Host Tip: Go early on Saturday mornings to avoid the queues for the maze!
  • Outeniqua Power Van
    A unique rail experience that winds up into the Outeniqua Mountains. You’ll see incredible views of the coastline and local fynbos that are inaccessible by car. Note: Departs from the Transport Museum.
  • Outeniqua Transport Museum
    Step back in time with a massive collection of vintage steam locomotives, old-school fire engines, and classic cars. It’s a treasure trove for history buffs and children alike.
  • Clay Cafe 
    Unleash your creativity! Choose a ceramic piece to paint while enjoying a coffee or a light meal. It’s a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with the family.
  • Victoria Bay (Vic Bay)
    Our favorite local beach. Known for its world-class surf break, it’s equally lovely for a walk along the pier or a swim in the tidal pools.

  • Outeniqua Family Market (George)
    A beloved favourite Saturday tradition. Expect live music, incredible food stalls, and a great play area for children.
  • Wild Oats Community Farmers’ Market (Sedgefield)
    A multi-award-winning market. It’s a bit further of a drive, but absolutely worth it for the fresh farm produce. Host Tip: This market is strictly for “early birds”—get there before 9:00 AM!

  • Bergendal Hiking
    For the best trails in the area, visit bergendalhiking.co.za. They offer a variety of routes for all fitness levels. Host Tip: Join their community Saturday morning walks to discover the best-kept secret paths.
  • Paragliding (Wilderness & Sedgefield)
    Get a bird’s-eye view of the coastline. Tucked between the mountains and the sea, these are some of the most famous paragliding spots in the world.
  • WildX Quad Biking (Wilderness)
    For a bit of adrenaline, head over to Wilderness for a guided quad bike safari through forests and dunes.
  • Botlierskop Private Game Reserve
